Want to help fix Georgia’s mental health crisis?

You can make a real impact today.
Too many Georgians in crisis end up in jail cells instead of treatment. Our state has the funds to change this—but legislators need to hear from us.

Take one step:
Contact your state legislators and tell them to make mental health a priority in the upcoming budget. Your voice matters more than you think.

Georgia Has the Funds—Let’s Fund Mental Health Care, Not Jail Cells

Georgia is facing a mental health crisis that touches families in every community. Too many people who need care are instead funneled into jails—punished for an illness rather than treated for it. No mother, no child, no family should have to navigate a system where the only available “bed” is behind bars.

Our state has a budget surplus. We have the resources to expand mental health services, increase access to treatment, and ensure that people in crisis receive care—not incarceration. What we lack is the commitment to make mental health a true priority.
It’s time for Georgia to invest in beds, medications, therapy, and community support. It’s time to fund hope.
