We’re thrilled to announce the inaugural cohort of the Nonprofit Sector Sustainability Fund, a new initiative created in partnership with Nonprofit Finance Fund to help metro Atlanta nonprofits strengthen long-term financial resilience during a time of growing uncertainty across the sector.

The inaugural cohort includes organizations serving communities across metro Atlanta through mental health support, housing stability, arts and culture, immigrant and refugee services, disability advocacy, youth opportunity and more.

This initiative will also support the broader nonprofit community. In partnership with Nonprofit Finance Fund, CFGA will expand access to free webinars, financial resilience tools and online resources available to nonprofits across metro Atlanta — helping more organizations navigate funding uncertainty, strengthen operations and plan for long-term sustainability.

Many grandparents never expect to raise children again.

But when family needs them most, they step in with love, strength, and resilience.

This Older Americans Month, we honor the grandparents raising grandchildren and creating safe, stable homes every day.

USA Today spotlights kinship caregivers' selfless love and struggles, particularly in finding affordable housing in Metro Atlanta. ISDD empowers these caregivers with support, and donations help fuel their mission.

She took in her nephew, niece and mom. Could they find a home? When aunts or grandmas raise young relatives, it strains finances. One solution keeps families together: affordable housing built for their needs.

Families are built through love, support, and showing up when it matters most.
