It was an honor to attend this evening’s Fulton Films Annual Red Carpet Panel and Partnership Event. Fulton Films has really grown under the leadership of Shaunya Chavis Rucker and I am excited to see how we continue to grow and support the Film Industry right here in Fulton County for years to come.

I am honored to have been recognized for supporting Fulton Films since becoming a Fulton County Commissioner in 2018.

The only Giant Pandas housed in the United States are in Fulton County’s very own … but not for long. After 25 beautiful years Zoo Atlanta’s four giant pandas will be headed back home to China. It has been an honor to house these beautiful animals in the greatest county in the State of Georgia.

I am partnering with Favor House, Atlanta Community Food Bank and Legacy of Glory Ministries to hold a FREE Food distribution event on Friday, July 19, 2024 from 1PM to 4PM at Legacy of Glory Church, 3557 Main Street, College Park, GA.

There will be a wide variety of fresh produce, pantry staples and other essentials, all FREE to residents.

Senior Bingo was so much fun! Residents received fresh produce from Fulton County Cooperative Extension 🍎🥬🍌 and learned about the great programs and services offered by JenCare Senior Medical Center, the Fulton Dekalb Hospital Authority and Sonder Health 🫶🏾

HAPPENING TODAY: Labor and Community Health Fair! 🩺❤️

I have partnered with The Atlanta North Georgia Labor Council to host a Labor and Community Health Fair on Friday, June 21st from 2pm tp 6pm at 153 Richardson Street, Atlanta, GA 30312. Join us as we enjoy a FREE day of health screenings, nutrition plans, health vendors, health talk, and so much more!

There will be Fulton County and community partners in attendance, including:

Fulton County Library System
Fulton County Registration and Elections
Fulton County Board of Health
The Fulton-Dekalb Hospital Authority
