Hosted annually in the city of Atlanta, ELEVATE is a temporary public art program that seeks to create unique access to the arts throughout various communities in the Atlanta area. Produced and curated by the City of Atlanta's Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs, ELEVATE is a unique temporary art experience for artists and the general public. ELEVATE Atlanta: Rooted & Rising brought the city together for a three-day celebration of Atlanta’s creative legacy, bridging the past, present, and future of its cultural scene. From October 10–12, curators Courtney Brooks, Melissa Alexander, and SLW + STEADY transformed the city through art, fashion, and music — honoring the roots of Atlanta’s ‘80s–2000s era while spotlighting the new voices shaping what’s next.

A heartfelt thank you to all the artists, participants, vendors, and partners who made this year’s festival possible. Your creativity, collaboration, and community spirit continue to keep Atlanta rooted — and rising.

ELEVATE: Rooted & Rising — Day 3 Recap | The Future is Ours

The final day of ELEVATE brought an inspiring close to the festival with The Future is Ours, curated by SLW + STEADY .

Visual and musical artists, creative makers, and vendors transformed the space into a vibrant hub of culture and connection—each installation and showcase honoring Atlanta’s creative roots while envisioning its evolving future. From bold visual art and live performances to thoughtfully crafted goods from local vendors, every detail reflected the city’s pulse of progress and pride.

Day Three embodied what it means to rise—together—as a community of creators continuing to shape Atlanta’s story through art, collaboration, and culture.
