Thank you to the men and women of the DeKalb County Sheriffโ€™s Office for investing their time in our campers and creating an experience filled with mentorship, learning, and connection.

It was heartwarming to see our young men and women bond, encourage one another, and share in the excitement of catching fishโ€”some for the very first time! Their beautiful smiles and genuine joy were a reminder that this day was about so much more than fishing.

Our campers learned patience, teamwork, and perseverance while creating memories that will last a lifetime. โœจโ˜บ๏ธ

Our โ€œJust Us: Justice in Actionโ€ Day was a huge success! โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Our campers made new friends, learned about the Sheriffโ€™s Office, and enjoyed hands-on experiences with Command Staff, SWAT, K-9, and the Drone Unit, including learning how to identify fingerprints. ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿš

A special thank you to Jamie Hayes for the exercise session, and DeKalb County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Ronald Hardaway for speaking with our campers and bringing the fire truck! ๐Ÿš’

Campers also heard from individuals from our Compliance Dorms, who shared their story and encouraged them to choose their friends wisely, make positive choices, and never give up on their dreams and goals. ๐ŸŒŸ
