At Jo-Anne's House, Inc., we believe that everyone deserves not just shelter but the opportunity to thrive in a stable home. Since our founding in 2018, we have been dedicated to serving those experiencing homelessness by providing hygiene care bags and blankets to restore dignity and comfort during difficult times. While these efforts made a meaningful impact, we recognized that true transformation requires more than temporary relief, it demands lasting solutions.
Today, our mission has evolved to focus on reducing homelessness by equipping individuals facing housing instability with the tools they need to secure affordable housing and achieve homeownership. We now prioritize empowering our clients through financial literacy, credit-building resources, and personalized support tailored to their unique circumstances.
Our target population has also shifted from those living unsheltered to the "hidden homeless," individuals who may not be visible on the streets but are living in transitional situations. By addressing this often-overlooked group, we aim to bridge gaps in support systems and create pathways toward permanent stability.
We measure success not just by how many people we serve but by how many lives we transform:
▪︎ How many individuals secured permanent housing this year?
▪︎ How many first-time homeowners did we help create this year?
▪︎ How much did we improve our clients’ credit scores?
▪︎ Once housed, did their financial stability continue to grow?
These metrics reflect our commitment to sustainable change. By focusing on long-term outcomes rather than short-term outputs, we strive to break cycles of poverty and homelessness while fostering resilience within our communities.
Jo-Anne's House. Inc., is more than a service provider, we are partners in progress. Together with our supporters, volunteers, and community members, we are building a future where everyone has access to safe, affordable housing and the opportunity for economic empowerment.
Join us in making this vision a reality!

Christmas 2021 - The winter coat drive was a success. We passed out the majority of coats collected (except 6) and supplied 60 blankets during the outreach. A volunteer donated 100 meals, a cake, and refreshments. What better way to make a person's day than providing a delicious hearty meal with desert on the side? Thank you for your generosity and big heart
Thank you to our individual and corporate donors who participated in the coat drive and consistently supports our mission. Your drive, commitment, and dedication is truly exceptional. Wishing everyone a healthy, happy, joy filled holiday!
