This month, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, but we also
understand that equitable cancer treatment needs to be worked
toward every day of the year. By funding research like Dr. Brittany
Charlton’s study to document cancer disparities among LGBTQ+
people, we can focus our efforts to help ensure everyone has a fair
opportunity to live free from cancer.

There are so many ways to celebrate Pride Month and we appreciate them all. To our LGBTQ+ staff and the entire community, we stand with you, allied against cancer.

By working directly with the LGBTQ+ community through our own Employee Engagement Group and partnering with organizations like the National LGBT Cancer Network, we can be sure we're there for them at every step of their cancer journey.

When it comes to cancer in the LGBTQ+ community, there’s still work to be done. That’s why we collaborate with the National LGBTQ Cancer Network to improve the lives of at-risk LGBTQ+ allies and cancer survivors through education, training, and advocating for policy change.

The American Cancer Society estimates there will be a little more than 1.9 million newly diagnosed cancer cases and nearly 609,360 deaths from cancer in 2022 in the LGBTQ+ community.
