ATLANTIC… are you ready for H2WHOA?!
We're putting BOATS in the POOL and bringing out all the fun colored water and fizzing powder at the pouring station! 🛶💦

That's right! We're bringing a little water adventure to the YMCA with kayaking, hands-on Splash Lab fun, and plenty of opportunities to play, explore, and try something new!

This is NOT your ordinary pool day, we have extra staff and we are ready to give you an extra fun day! 😉

Remember all that pumpkin decorating fun at Splash & Patch? Well, before those "decorations" end up in the trash, we have a little request!

We're looking to round up those hardware items like bolts, screws, chains etc. We can save them from the trash and tuck them in with the skeletons to be used next season!

Have something you'd be willing to pass along? We'd LOVE to give it another spin at Splash and Patch 2027!

If you would like to drop your pieces off to be recycled next year, please leave them with the front desk.

🧪Whhhhooooaaaaaa… THAT WAS A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!

Today we turned our pool into a little hands-on children's museum, and you all showed up ready to EXPLORE, EXPERIMENT, POUR, PLAY & DISCOVER!

From colorful creations and pouring experiments to curious minds and little scientists testing their theories, Splash Lab was everything we hoped it would be and MORE! 💙

WHAT IF... we brought a little bit of the children's museum to the pool?

WHAT IF... we gave parents simple but powerful questions to ask their kids that turn water play into opportunities for discovery, creativity, and learning?

WHAT IF.... we encouraged kids to experiment, make predictions, test ideas, get curious, and maybe even make a little mess along the way?

And what if we took all that fun (and mess!) OUT of your house and brought it into the perfect environment for exploring, playing, and learning together?

💡 YOU'D GET SPLASH LAB @ THE YMCA! 🧪

We're reimagining what pool time can look like! This isn't just about swimming. It's about creating opportunities for kids to explore, discover, build, experiment, and learn through hands-on play and socialization.

From pouring and measuring to mixing colors, experimenting with water, and tackling little science challenges, there's something magical about learning when you don't even realize you're doing it!

And parents? You're not just bringing the kids to an activity. You're part of the experience!

Pop in and out any time from
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
FREE for YMCA members! Non-members pay regular daily admission.

This is a parent-supervised experience, NOT a drop-off program. Adults must provide supervision on the pool deck or in the water according to YMCA supervision policies.
So bring your curious kiddos, grab your suit and towel, and come to the pool with a purpose!

INTRODUCING SPLASH LAB! 💦🧪

Who’s ready to mix a little science fun with a whole LOT of splashing?! 🔬🫧

We’re turning the YMCA pool into a place to EXPLORE, LEARN & PLAY during the day! Join us for a special pop-up play day where kids can swim, socialize, experiment with extra pouring station fun, and let their curiosity run wild! 💙

Think water play meets science lab… with a whole lot of SPLASH! 🧪🌊

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Grown-ups, you're part of the fun! This Splash Lab is NOT a drop-off program. Children must have appropriate adult supervision on the pool deck or in the water, according to YMCA supervision policies. Please plan to stay and participate in the fun with your kiddos and maybe have some fun with other parents as well! Come when you can, leave when you are done, all we ask is that you come have fun and engage with your kiddos!

Whether you’re home with little ones during the day or a homeschool family looking for an outting, this is a fun way to break up the routine, come dive into something different with friends!

🧪 Grab your goggles, bring your curiosity, and come see what happens when combine some science fun and the pool!
