The Atoka Fire Department is hosting a fun, hands-on CPR and AED training event designed to give you the skills and confidence to help during an emergency. You never know when someone may need you, and learning CPR could make all the difference!

Congratulations to Hastin Dodson and Jacob Yates on their graduation from the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy (TFACA), Class of 26-02!

Fire Academy is no easy task! It takes 10 weeks of intense training, long days, physical challenges, and dedication to learning the skills needed to serve and protect our community.

We are proud of these two firefighters for their hard work, determination, and commitment to answering the call. Graduation is a major milestone, but it’s also just the beginning of a rewarding career of service.

Congratulations to Firefighters Dodson and Yates on this accomplishment! We are proud to have you both as part of the Atoka Fire Department family! 👏🔥

Chief Scott recently attended the Local Government Leadership Program (LGLP), hosted by the University of Tennessee’s Naifeh Center for Effective Leadership through the Institute for Public Service.

This multi-day program brings together municipal and county government leaders from across Tennessee to strengthen leadership skills, exchange ideas, and gain valuable tools to help guide their communities into the future.

Participation in the program is by nomination and approval, making it a unique opportunity for local government professionals to learn from one another and bring new perspectives back to their communities.
