🧡 Celebrating Unity Day at The Rock in Kingsley!

This past week, the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation was excited to join The Rock Youth Center in Kingsley, Michigan, for Unity Day!

Unity Day brings communities together to stand against bullying and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion.

Our SCBF team members, Suzanne, Kasie, and Ali, proudly wore orange and spent the day connecting with local youth through rock painting, crafts, games, and creative activities! 🎨

Connection and empathy are at the heart of our Beyond Trauma-Informed™ framework, and we were grateful to be part of a day that reflects these values.

🦋 An exciting milestone for our SCBF team!

We are proud to celebrate Undersheriff Greg Hubers as he facilitated his very first Beyond Trauma-Informed™ training with the Benzie County Sheriff’s Office!

What makes this milestone even more special is that Greg had the opportunity to share our framework with his own cohort, the very team he works alongside.

Our framework helps law enforcement professionals better understand how stress, perceived threats, and nervous system responses influence behavior and decision-making, while strengthening regulation-centered environments that support both professionals and the communities they serve.

Greg’s dedication has played an important role in strengthening our partnerships throughout Benzie County, and we are excited to see this work continue!

We are proud to share that Lisa St. Clair, Co-Founder and Board Member of the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation, has been recognized as one of the 2026 Influential Women of Northern Michigan by the Traverse City Record-Eagle! 🦋

Lisa’s dedication to advocacy, education, and strengthening communities continues to shape the work we do at SCBF.

Congratulations to Lisa and all the remarkable women recognized this year! What a wonderful acknowledgment of their leadership and contributions throughout Northern Michigan.

What a wonderful evening at the Cherry Bowl Drive-In’s Trunk or Treat this past Saturday! 🎃

Our SCBF team members, Kasie and Ali, with the help of Undersheriff Greg, put together a Dolly Parton-themed trunk to celebrate someone who truly held the values of connection and empathy close to her heart! 🩵🩷

With 980 guests in attendance, our team had a great time passing out treats, connecting with families, and seeing so many familiar faces!

We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to bring people together through events like this. A special thank you to the Cherry Bowl Drive-In and everyone who helped make the evening possible!

A great day in Beaufort, South Carolina!

Our Regional Director, AnnMarie Mott, was honored to represent the St. Clair Butterfly Foundation at Empowering Community Leaders: Bridging the Gap.

The gathering brought community leaders and organizations together to discuss challenges facing youth and families, share resources, and build stronger connections across the Lowcountry.

We’re grateful to have been part of the conversation and look forward to what comes next! 🦋
