Eckhart Public Library welcomes everyone to our library, and adheres to the sentiment of our founder, Charles Eckhart, in his quote that our library is "...not for any particular class or group, but for every citizen". Eckhart Public Library is an Evergreen Indiana library and has three public buildings as part of our library campus in Auburn, Indiana. Thank you to everyone that joined us on Saturday to celebrate the philanthropic efforts of our community to enhance our library park. It was wonderful to be able to hear from the donors themselves and see how the Community Gathers Here Project came together.

We are very excited about these new additions and will be sharing more information about even more new items when they are ready!

We are so grateful for everyone that contributed to this project. We also want to thank the Eckhart Library Foundation for working with us to realize the library's goal to enhance our outdoor spaces for everyone to enjoy!

We want to congratulate Jane, one of our Public Service Specialists, on her 2nd anniversary at Eckhart Public Library! Jane can often be found in the Children's Department creating incredible displays and learning through play experiences for the kiddos in our community. We want to congratulate Marty, our Janitorial Specialist, on his 4th anniversary at Eckhart Public Library! Marty has never met a stranger and can be found hard at work all over the library campus! Nothing says Friday night like the laughter and cheers coming from the Teen Dungeons & Dragons campaign! Roll for adventure!

Teen D&D meets on the second and last Fridays on each month (unless the Library is closed), from 4:30 - 6:45 pm, on the lower level of The Teen Library.

No experience or items required. If you arrive early enough (4:00 pm or so), we can make a custom character Otherwise, we can print a premade character for you.

We are so excited to have Good Boy Coffee Co. at the library tomorrow, Saturday, October 10th! ☕

It will be a busy day at the library with the Friends of Eckhart Public Library, Inc. Book Sale, Document Shredding Services, Dog Tales, and the Community Gathers Here Celebration! All are welcome to join us for these events!
