August is National Breastfeeding Month!

This month, we celebrate and support all families on their infant feeding journey. Whether breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or formula feeding, every family's path is unique and deserves compassion, respect, and support.

Breastfeeding can provide many health benefits for both babies and parents, but it also comes with challenges. No one should have to navigate those challenges alone.

If you are pregnant, expecting, or caring for a new baby, know that local resources are available to help. From lactation support and parent education to community support groups, we're here to connect families with the information and encouragement they need. For more information please visit https://www.mainebreastfeeds.org/ or join us for our monhtly Bumps and Babies support group!
