🎉 Two adoptions today — and one was a DOUBLE adoption! ❤️🐾

And not just any double adoption… a BIG DOG double adoption! That’s a pretty big deal around here. We don’t see it every day, and we’re so grateful Zeke and Sonic’s adopters found them, fell in love, and decided to bring them both home together!

And then there’s Delilah. ❤️ This girl already has a cheering section here at the shelter, so we’re OVER THE MOON that she’s found her forever home, too!

Three dogs, two forever homes, and a whole lot of happy hearts. Congratulations to Zeke, Sonic, and Delilah! We’re going to miss you, but we couldn’t be happier for you! 🏡🐶

Kittens don’t usually have time to unpack their bags before they’re off to their forever homes! 😹❤️ It’s easy to see why these cuties have all been adopted, but there are always more adorable faces waiting for their next adventure.

Stop by and meet our available kittens and cats before they steal someone else’s heart! 🐾

And all month long, adoptions are just $5!

🍂 Cooler weather, comfortable walks, and a new best friend. What could be better?

Meet Ms. Lulu Banzai. ❤️ This gentle, loving 3-year-old Shepherd mix can be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she’s all in. Her staff and volunteer friends absolutely adore her, and the feeling is very much mutual! Give Lulu a little time to warm up, and you’ll have a devoted friend who’s happy to see you and ready to share her love.

🐾 October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and adoptions are just $5 all month long at Placer County Animal Services.

Come meet Lulu and see if she’s your new walking buddy, adventure partner, or simply your favorite face to come home to. ❤️

October is Pit Bull Awareness Month — a good time to look past the labels and get to know the dog in front of you. ❤️

Meet Cerberus. This beautiful 5-year-old girl is loving, affectionate and happiest when she’s spending time with her people. She’s also an active girl who would love a family ready to get out, explore and enjoy life together.

Like every dog, Cerberus is an individual with her own personality, and the best way to really get to know her is to spend some time together. ❤️

Want a little more time with Cerberus? Try a Doggy Day Out and spend a few hours with her away from the kennel. It’s a great way to see her personality shine and get to know the real Cerberus. 🐾

And all month long, adoptions are just $5. Come meet Cerberus and all of our adorabull, adoptabull pitties. Your new best friend is waiting.
