Our big Not-So-Spooky Walk is only three days away, this Friday, Oct. 16, 4:30-7pm! We're very excited about this huge event, and it will be a rain or shine evening! The countdown begins to one of the library's biggest events of the year, the Not-So-Spooky Walk on Friday, Oct. 16 from 4:30-7pm! The library and local author Naomi Fredette will present an evening of sensory play and trick or treats for kids of all ages! Costumes are encouraged. Vendors and a food truck will be on hand. Parking will be at several places nearby. We'll see you for all the fun!

We wanted to highlight two wonderful fundraisers our library friends group is running for us! One is today, the Shorty's Fair Share day where a percentage of anything you buy at Shorty's goes toward the library. The other is next week's big Evening of Mediumship fundraiser. Both are fun and helpful ways to contribute and have a special evening out as well! We'll see you all at Shorty's today!

Many thanks to everyone who attended out first Community Wide Expansion Information Session last night! Plans were presented, and we appreciate the suggestions and discussion. Our goal is to have an information table set up at the library by next week, along with downloadable fact sheets and video on our website. Stay tuned. And mark your calendar - we'll have a second Community Information Session at AVS at 6pm on Nov. 19.
