***Employee Recognition***

Deputy Chief Cougle is pleased to announce that Meagan Kyllonen and Officer Justin Le have been selected by the Command Staff as the Auburn Police Department’s Civilian of the Quarter and Officer of the Quarter, respectively, for the third quarter of 2026.

🏆 Civilian of the Quarter – Meagan Kyllonen

As our Court Officer, Meagan has been described as the backbone of the department, keeping an immense and varied workload organized and on point. Her attention to detail, ability to manage countless responsibilities, and consistently positive attitude make her an invaluable member of the APD team.

🏆 Officer of the Quarter – Officer Justin Le

Since joining APD in 2024, Officer Le has established himself as one of the Patrol Division’s most proactive officers. His self-initiated activity has contributed to several recent drug arrests, while his willingness to pick up open shifts, take on additional responsibilities, and assist newer officers demonstrates his commitment to his fellow officers and the department.

Officer Le also continues to pursue his education while working to completing his master’s degree.

Both Meagan and Justin exemplify professionalism, dedication, teamwork, and a commitment to serving the citizens of Auburn. Their willingness to go above and beyond and support their fellow employees are shining examples of APD’s commitment to “Expect Excellence.”

Please join us in congratulating Meagan Kyllonen and Officer Justin Le on this well-deserved recognition. We are proud to have you both on the APD team and appreciate your continued commitment to the department and our community.

Congratulations, Meagan and Justin!
