We’re celebrating 132 years of Willard Memorial Chapel tomorrow!

On October 24, 1894, construction was completed and our total Tiffany chapel was dedicated to the Auburn Theological Seminary. We think we look pretty good for our age!

To celebrate 132 years of history, we’re offering FREE tours of Willard Memorial Chapel tomorrow from 11 AM to 4 PM! Stop by and celebrate with us!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Nevermore last night! What a fun, spooky evening! And a great reminder that even with a parking lot renovation, we can still pack the Chapel to full capacity. 🎃

Our friends at the Cayuga Museum are celebrating their 90th anniversary with Simple Roast Coffee’s Movietone Mocha! But did you know Willard Chapel and the Cayuga Museum share a family history?

The Cayuga Museum was once the mansion of Dr. Sylvester Willard and his wife, Jane Case Willard. Their daughters, Caroline and Georgiana, inherited the family fortune and commissioned Tiffany to create the beautiful interior of Willard Chapel in memory of their parents.

The sisters later left their mansion to their cousin, Willard Case, whose son Theodore became a pioneer of sound on film technology!

October 9–11, stop by Simple Roast and grab a Movietone Mocha! 5% of all latte sales will benefit the Cayuga Museum!
