New Colorado Notary Law:

Notice of Temporary Adoption relating to the Colorado Notary Program Rules (8 CCR 1505-11), specifically amendments to Rule 5.2.7 to clarify that the fee a notary may charge for their electronic signature has increased from $10 to $25, in accordance with Senate Bill 23-153. The Department finds it necessary to adopt these rules on a temporary basis until the rules are permanently adopted and effective. The notice includes statements of basis and justification and is linked below. The Department also filed a notice of proposed rulemaking on May 15, 2023, under CCR e-Docket tracking #: 2023-00266.
