Overall review:
This park was wonderful! There was a ton of options for both of my boys (9 & 4). The park offered a lot of different climbing/ balancing options, encouraged imaginative play and of course the 2 different swing options. The slide from the parking lot into the playground was my oldest’s favorite feature (aside from the zipline)
I would highly suggest checking out this park, we had it to ourselves but keep in mind it is next to a school and there are ball fields so it could get busy.

💫Disability Pride Month is an important time to honor the diversity and uniqueness of each person in the disability community and celebrate people who have disabilities.
This incredible community is one that holds a special place in my heart. 💕
When I started this group in 2018 I had no idea what a resource it would become for families with disabilities. By offering detailed descriptions of the park/playground, families are able to see if the park will meet their families unique needs.
➡️ Since then, the group has grown to over 4k members and I have partnered with an incredible non-profit, .light who’s goal is creating playgrounds that are accessible for children of all needs.
Donating to Lu Bird’s on behalf of my real estate clients from the group, we’ve been able to make an incredible impact. One park, one transaction at a time. 💫
A little more about the history of disability pride month:
In July, 1990 President George H.W. Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) into law. This landmark law prohibited discrimination against people with disabilities, and in July of that same year, the first Disability Pride Day was celebrated in Boston.
More than 160 million people in the U.S. are living with with chronic diseases and disabilities. The National Health Council (NHC) provides a unified voice for people with chronic diseases and disabilities.
The long-time disability rights mantra “nothing about us without us,” is something the NHC firmly believes in. Their work is centered on making sure that people with chronic conditions and disabilities are at the center of making decisions that affect their health.
