The Aurora Youth Commission advises City Council, the City Manager, and the director of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Open Space regarding the interests of youth in Aurora. The Commission’s mission is to better the well being of Aurora’s youth through representation, service and action.

Hello Everyone!
A BIG thank you for your support & participation with the City of Aurora’s Youth Commission’s Teen Job Fair. We have estimated that 350-400 teens visited the event.
Congratulations to all of the Youth Commissioner’s for their hard work with the recruitment of businesses to participate and working this event, supporting teens in the Aurora community.
A shout out to the Beck Recreation Center staff for hosting this event. Congratulations to all on a job well done!

~~Jireh Pulley, in honor of Black History Month, was recognized as the 2015 African American Youth Leader of the year at the Juanita Grey Community Service Awards. Jireh was recognized for her service and leadership at the February 8th City Council meeting.
