Have questions about how recent policy changes could affect healthcare or food assistance programs? 💛

Understanding complex legislation isn't always easy, especially when it may impact resources that many families rely on.

Join presenters from the Protect Our Care Illinois Coalition (POCIL) for an informative discussion about HR1 and its potential impact on Illinois residents who use:

🏥 Medicaid
💙 Affordable Care Act health plans
🥫 SNAP food assistance

Come learn, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of how these changes could affect our communities.

Have you jumped on the painted book edges trend yet? 📚✨

Earlier this summer, participants in our take-home craft kit available at West Branch, transformed ordinary books into colorful works of art by painting their edges, just like some of today's most popular special-edition books.

Now we'd love to show off your creativity! 🎨

If you'd like your painted book to be included in a special community display, please return it ASAP, so we can share your amazing creations with other library visitors.

We can't wait to see the stories you've helped bring to life through art. 💛

👉 If you painted your book, tell us what inspired your design!

SUPER BIG thanks to our friends at Superjumbo Records and Arcade for their support of CAPE Con! They’ve been busy opening their new location on Lake St. and sponsoring Alley Art Fest, but they still found the time to bring over an arcade cabinet for our CAPE Con attendees to enjoy. 😊
