Meet Wosen, one of Continuum of Colorado’s full-time Direct Support Professionals! Wosen recently graduated with her Associate Degree of General Studies from the Community College of Aurora and is already working toward her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Colorado Denver.🎉
While working full-time, Wosen has been able to use Continuum of Colorado’s tuition reimbursement benefit to support both degrees. We’re so proud of Wosen and the dedication she brings to her work, her education, and her future in healthcare.
If you’re looking for a meaningful career and want to continue your education, we’d be happy to talk with you about full-time opportunities and tuition reimbursement options at Continuum of Colorado. www.continuumcolo.org

Last Saturday, we were out at Alpine Autism Center’s “Run for the One” 5K in Colorado Springs, and it was one of those mornings that just felt good to be part of. We got to connect with families, providers, and others in the I/DD community, and have some great conversations about the support available locally, including one-on-one Music and Massage Therapy.
Always appreciate time like this. Getting outside, giving out Continuum swag, meeting people, and staying connected to the community we’re part of.

Some days just go smoother with a little extra support. For some families, that looks like music filling the room and creating a moment of connection. For others, it’s gentle movement that helps build confidence over time. Sometimes it’s as simple as a calming touch that helps the body settle.
Having those services come into your home can make a difference in a way that feels natural, not clinical. For caregivers, it can ease a bit of the day. For individuals, it can open up new ways to engage, move, and feel comfortable.
Continuum offers these services across Colorado, from Fort Collins to Pueblo. If you want to take a look or see what might fit, more info is here:

🎶 Please join us in welcoming Brookelynn to Continuum! 🎶
Brookelynn, MT-BC, is a board-certified Music Therapist who brings both heart and experience to her work. She earned her degree in Music Therapy from Colorado State University and completed her internship in hospice care—where she saw firsthand the power of music to comfort, connect, and support.
Her background also includes working in nursing homes and rehabilitation settings as both a CNA and activities leader, giving her a deep understanding of the individuals she serves.
At Continuum, Brookelynn uses music as a tool for connection, engagement, and joy—supporting individuals with IDD and a range of physical and neurological needs through thoughtful, person-centered care.
We’re so excited to have her on the team and the impact she’ll make. Welcome, Brookelynn 💙

At Continuum, Stefan offers Swedish, deep-tissue, and myofascial massage, helping individuals feel better, move better, and stay empowered in their care.
We’re so excited to have him on the team and can’t wait for you to meet him!

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to recognize the many ways people with developmental disabilities contribute to our communities. Meaningful work is one of those ways.
Work can bring confidence, connection, and a sense of purpose. For many individuals with developmental disabilities, finding the right job opens the door to greater independence and belonging.
Through supported employment services, individuals work alongside Employment Consultants and Job Coaches to explore their interests, build skills, and find opportunities that match their strengths. Support can include discovery, internships, benefits guidance, and on-the-job coaching.
Services are available across Colorado from Fort Collins to Pueblo. Learn more at https://www.continuumcolo.org/services/supported-employment/
