Must be an Aurora resident and registered voter. Membership consists of 12 voting members, including one youth member.
The three non-voting members are a City Manager designee, adult alternate and youth alternate. The Commission should be broadly representative of the City Wards, racial, ethnic, and social economic classes of the community. Membership :

Are you interested in doing business with the city of Aurora? Participate in the upcoming Business Opportunity Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.
This event is an opportunity for contractors, consultants and vendors to learn about the requirements and steps to do business with the city of Aurora, explore resources from the city’s small-business program and receive information about the city’s insurance requirements. Additionally, information on upcoming opportunities for design consulting, construction, operating and maintenance services with the city will be provided.

Join us at the annual ReACT Health Jam on September 7 from 10 am to 2 pm at Moorhead Recreation Center, 2390 Havana St. Aurora CO. There will be free food, free diapers, a food pantry and lots of resources for adults and children. Hope to see you there!

As part of recognizing Pride Month, we’ve partnered with Envision:You to offer workshops for parents, guardians, teachers and other trusted adults. These sessions, led by licensed clinicians and community members, provide tools and resources to better support LGBTQ+ youth in their lives.
Workshops will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 26, July 10, and July 17. The first two will be virtual, and the final session on July 17 will be in person at a location provided upon registration. Participants who attend all three workshops will be entered into a drawing for a $75 Visa gift card.

Businesses are invited to attend the upcoming hybrid seminar “How to Do Business with the city of Aurora,” from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, at the Aurora Municipal Center, Aurora Room, 15151 E. Alameda Parkway.
The seminar will cover essential topics, including examples of goods and services purchased by the city, where to find the city’s bids and requests for proposal, the process of responding to each and City Council reporting requirements.
