📚 AFTER-SCHOOL FUN IS HAPPENING AT THE AURORA TOWNSHIP YOUTH & COMMUNITY CENTER!

Over the past few weeks, our after-school youth have been doing what kids do best, and that's having fun, making memories, and building friendships! We’ve seen youth reunite with old friends while also making new ones, creating a welcoming and fun community where everyone can feel connected. From drumming lessons and creating awesome art to making yummy treats with our staff, having fun in the gym, and playing video games, there’s always something exciting happening after school!

Our After-School Activities are open to youth ages 7–13 and take place Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM–5:30 PM. Registration is FREE, and age verification is required. Whether your child loves being creative, staying active, trying something new, or simply hanging out with friends, we’d love to have them join us!

Grant Applications Now Open for Senior Service Programs in Aurora Township.

Aurora Township is pleased to announce the availability of approximately $500,000 in funding to support senior service programs that benefit Aurora Township residents during the current fiscal year.

Since the successful March 2018 senior services referendum, Aurora Township has made available more than $3.5 million available to local agencies serving senior citizens, said Aurora Township Supervisor Bill Catching.

“This latest round of grant funding reinforces our ongoing commitment to improve the quality of life for our older residents,” Catching said. “Supporting our older adults is at the heart of a strong, compassionate community.”

Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday September 25, 2026, to the Aurora Township Supervisor’s office, 80 N. Broadway, Aurora.
