DP is proud to partner with Aurora Police Department on Blue Envelope! Watch our own Associate Director of Community Affairs, Rachel Walker, in this video about the initiative.

Blue Envelope is a community safety program for people with disabilities, sensory sensitivities, communication challenges, anxiety, or other neurodivergent conditions. It gives people tools to help reduce misunderstandings and make encounters with law enforcement and first responders safer for everyone. DP supported by reviewing the content and process.

Colorado offers several ways to cast your ballot:

- By mail or at a 24-hour secure drop box.
- In person at a Voter Service and Polling Center.
- Electronically, if a visual, reading, or physical disability makes marking a paper ballot difficult. Visit myballot.coloradosos.gov for a step-by-step guide on how to access.

Nearly 150 people joined us for the Resource Coordination Program (RCP) Family Fun Day at Family Sports Center on October 3!

Families enjoyed pizza, ice cream, bumper cars, a climbing wall, ice skating, laser tag, mini golf, and more. A sensory-friendly tent gave everyone a calm, welcoming space to take part in the way that worked best for them.

Thank you to our partners Howdy Homemade Ice Cream Denver and The Inclusive Denver Project with the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center for helping make the day so special.

We’re grateful to our Arapahoe and Douglas County partners for trusting us with mill levy funding that makes inclusive connection points like this possible for families.

Registering to vote in Colorado is easier than you think!

- Register online at GoVoteColorado.gov or fill out a paper form and mail it to your county clerk
- Provide your Colorado ID or Driver’s License number. If you don’t have one, use the last 4 digits of your Social Security number. If you have neither, be prepared to provide another acceptable form of ID, listed at GoVoteColorado.gov.
- If you are unable to sign, make a mark and have a witness sign the appropriate section.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Ballot Bingo this year at Brewability & Pizzability in Arapahoe County and at Lone Tree Hub in Douglas County. We had a wonderful time sharing voter resources, helping attendees register to vote, and, of course, playing bingo!
