Today is an Ozone Action Day, which means ozone (smog) may reach levels 'unhealthy for sensitive groups'.
You can help reduce ozone levels by saving any errands after work for another day this week, biking for any essential trips or using public transit, and reducing your electricity usage. Children, older adults, and folks with pre-existing health conditions should refrain from extended outdoor activity this afternoon as ozone can cause health issues like difficulty breathing and irritation of the airways.

Ozone is also expected to be in the low "moderate" range today, while fine dust (PM2.5) levels are expected to be in the lower "moderate" range through the start of next week.
