IDENTITY is moving to a new state IDENTITY is changing jobs IDENTITY is entering a new relationship IDENTITY is adopting a dog IDENTITY is becoming a parent Through life we consistently gain and lose identities. We don’t often think about these things as IDENTITIES, but they are and we have so many. While you’re gaining new IDENTITIES ,remember that there’s loss. Be kind to yourself, process, and FEEL the loss, even if it’s a positive one. Those times you feel overwhelmed, stressed, or anxious when there’s change, is because there’s a loss of IDENTITY, and that’s scary.
