Pleased to secure $2 million in federal funding for the Belfast Bridge and Trail. Now the City needs to move forward with urgency to turn these federal dollars into this long-awaited connection between Windsor Park and Mueller. Thanks to “Window on Windsor” for sharing the good news.

Windsor Parkers, the WPNA is searching for 2027 officers. We currently need candidates for VICE PRESIDENT and COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER. Email [email protected] for more info.

We do have candidates for President, Secretary, and Treasurer, but any WPNA voting member in good standing can run. Candidates will be introduced at the Oct. 10 general meeting and a vote takes place in November.

WPNA does amazing work in local schools, parks, transportation projects, creating community, and more. We are not an HOA. Join our team!

National Night Out is Oct. 6! Anyone can host, sign up by Sept. 27, then email us at [email protected] so we can help spread the word.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that fosters positive relationships and communication between community members and police. It encourages community awareness, involvement, and provides law enforcement accessibility in order to make our neighborhoods safer.

BREAKING NEWS: The Belfast Bridge and Trail project just took a big step forward.

This morning, the Austin City Council approved a resolution to negotiate a funding agreement with TxDOT -- the pass-thru entity for federal funds secured by Rep. Lloyd Doggett for the project.

Construction is expected to begin in late 2029, following a bidding and design process. "We are going to get this done," District 4 Councilmember & Mayor Pro Tem Chito Vela said at the council meeting.
