Do you have a student who enjoys painting?

Hays WCID #2 is inviting students in grades 5–12 to enter a contest to paint an original mural in a section of a public pedestrian tunnel in the Belterra community.

Up to 24 winners will have their work displayed in 2027. Entries are due by October 31.

Details for the contest, including the entry form, can be found on the WCID #2 website.

While the contest is open to all 5th-12th grade DSISD students, the district would love a strong showing from Belterra residents!

Stage 3 drought contingency is now in effect. Once-a-week watering only, midnight to 4 AM on your designated day. Hand watering is allowed 6–10 AM on your designated day only. There is a minimum $200 fine per violation, with no warnings given.
