Congratulations 🎉
The 68th Game Warden Training Academy held its graduation ceremony today at the State Capitol in Austin, TX. Texas State Park Police and Texas Game Warden cadets received their commission and are now prepared to serve and protect the great State of Texas as they begin their law enforcement careers.
New park drop, y’all 🥳
Meet our newest addition: Silver Lake State Park. Just two hours west of San Antonio, this incredible landscape will expand recreational opportunities for Texans and generations to come.

Congrats, grads! 🎓✨
Last week, dedicated staff from state parks across Texas completed an immersive 10-day Managing Park Operations course.
These new and future park leaders gained the training, resources, and connections they need to help visitors experience the natural and cultural treasures of Texas.
Their work strengthens our legacy of protecting State Parks for generations to come.
