Huge thanks to all who joined us last week for our DCTX December Member Meeting! We had a blast catching up with fellow dietitians and students. We learned about food insecurity trends in young adults and how dietitians can stay up to date with research and be a powerful voice for science communication. Extending a big shoutout to our amazing speakers, Dr. Natalie Poulos and Dr. Elizabeth Klingbeil!
DCTX was also able to package up meals to share with the ATX Free Fridge project to support our community both on-campus and beyond! Big thanks to all who attended!

✨ Throwback Thursday! ✨
Our last member meeting was a blast! A huge shoutout to our incredible speaker who shared eye-opening insights on nutrition considerations for older adults. Did you know that in 2022, 1 in 10 seniors faced food insecurity? But thanks to Meals on Wheels, 2 out of 3 clients saw improvements in just three months!
We’re beyond grateful for and all our amazing members who joined us. It’s always inspiring to see dietitians and students come together, share knowledge, and uplift our community!
