Join us for a fun-filled day of celebration and learning at the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center! On Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, we are hosting a fun-filled day dedicated to educating the little ones about the rich history of Black culture, with an emphasis on the national 2024 Black History Month theme - African Americans and the Arts.

Immerse the whole family in an interactive day at the museum that aims to ignite curiosity and inspire appreciation for Black history. Kids can explore the remarkable achievements of influential Black artists of all disciplines through hands-on experiences and creative play, as they gain a deeper understanding of the contributions made by Black creatives throughout history.
