🖤🍋 **A spooky sip for your Halloween gathering!**

Entertaining this Halloween or just curling up with a good autumn read? Serve up a little something **dark, delicious and delightfully unexpected** with Black Lemonade, poured into beautiful lowball glasses found at the **Better ATX THRIFT HOUSE**.

**Black Lemonade**

🍋 8 cups filtered water
🍋 Juice of 4–5 large lemons
🍁 ¼ cup pure maple syrup
🖤 1 tsp food-grade activated charcoal powder

Mix, chill and serve over ice in your favorite thrifted glassware. Because even spooky drinks deserve a fabulous glass. 👻🥂

💙 A full-circle act of kindness. 💙

From ages 2-5, Jaron Rodriguez was an oncology patient at Dell Children's Medical Center. During those years of treatment, the Better ATX Toy Cart brought moments of joy, comfort, and encouragement during difficult days.

Now 17, as part of his Eagle Scout project, Jaron has given back in an extraordinary way. He led his troop in a large toy drive benefiting the Better ATX Toy Cart, helping ensure that children currently receiving care at Dell Children's can experience that same comfort, excitement, and hope.

We are so grateful for Jaron's leadership, generosity, and commitment to serving others. Thank you for turning your own experience into an opportunity to brighten the lives of countless children and families. ❤️🧸

For a child in need, having clothes that fit and that they feel good wearing can make all the difference when they walk through the school doors.

**Better ATX Clothes for Kids** provides new school clothes to children in our community who need them most, and we need your help to continue this important work.

October is our fundraising month and every donation helps us put more clothes in closets and more smiles on faces. 👕👖👟
