Now that you’ve learned some ways to recognize the signs of stress, let’s talk about how you can manage it.
Stress management is a skill. Feeling calm doesn’t happen naturally; it’s something we need to train our bodies to do over time. Instead of pushing through stress, try finding ways to ease through it. Start with calming activities like stretching or chair yoga, or daily deep-breathing exercises. Find what helps you feel at peace.
As we age, our bodies can take longer to recover from stress, so building these stress-free routines early can help you stay ahead of it. Let us know in the comments what helps calm your mind when you’re feeling stressed!

We honored resident veterans during our annual Salute to Veterans Program.
The event featured champagne toasts, a Missing Man Table and the sound of Echo Taps, a meaningful tribute to the service and sacrifice of these honored veterans. Thank you to our hosts, Diane Mason, Richard Younts, and Steve Raben and to everyone who attended to honor these special members of our community.
Thank you for your service, veterans!
