We are pleased to recognize Safety Officer Marc Maziarz on his five-year anniversary with the District. Marc conducts comprehensive safety inspections across District facilities and fleet vehicles, enforces safety protocols, and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Marc is also part of the team that manages the District’s safety education program, developing training seminars and advising staff on critical safety topics.
We sincerely thank Marc for his many contributions to the District and the community we proudly serve.

We are proud to recognize longtime District team member Jose Del Toro on his 20-year anniversary! Jose is a licensed wastewater operator who plays a vital role in protecting the environment and public health. He monitors complex filtration systems, conducts testing and adjusts chemical treatments to ensure contaminants are properly treated for safe disposal.
We thank Jose for his dedication to keeping the community safe and congratulate him on this significant milestone at WCID No. 17!
