The RDP is so excited to wrap up our year with a showcase of all our theater classes. The event is pay what you can and all the proceeds will go to funding future productions for these students! Everyone has been working very hard on writing, directing, and choreographing there acts so please come and support them. Can’t wait to see you there! ❤️🎉

We’re kicking off the 2026 Heller Awards for Young Artists in true red carpet style with CBS Austin’s We Are Austin host Trevor Scott, broadcasting LIVE from the red carpet on Wednesday, May 6 from 6:00–6:30 PM!
Trevor will be interviewing students, celebrating this year’s nominees, and helping us announce our 2026 scholarship award winners before the big show begins.
We cannot wait to celebrate an unforgettable evening at Bass Concert Hall. See you May 6! 🎭🏆✨

Hosted by the Austin High Theatre Department, Camp Red Dragons is a fun-filled summer theatre experience for students finishing Kindergarten through 5th grade. Campers will spend their mornings exploring acting, music, and movement, and their afternoons rehearsing for a final performance, complete with a public evening showcase!
This year’s camp is led by Austin High School Directors Joel Hinojosa and Kaylie DeLauri, along with talented AHS Theatre students.
Registration includes:
• Script
• Camp T-shirt
• Performance royalties
• Daily snack
Campers should bring their own lunch and will enjoy a daily picnic at the park next to the theater.
