The Texas House Public Education Committee is holding a public hearing on Monday, June 1. They're taking public comments specifically on HB 2 school funding. You don't have to be an activist to participate- just a parent, a taxpayer, or someone who cares about kids.

Lots going on, so here's a quick recap of what you need to know right now (plus all the other things going on with your kids' classes and field trips and end-of-year events and clubs and sports):
-Last PTA meeting of the year on 5/14
-Talent show on 5/15
-No school for Memorial Day on 5/25
-5th grade graduation on 5/27
-Last day of school on 5/28
