Happy Thanksgiving to all those who are working today, we are fortunate to be able to share this special day of thanks with our co-workers, friends and family....

**FOUND DOG**

Found near Andtree Blvd and Springdale Road.

She was picked up around 13:00, she was scanned for a microchip but doesn't have one. We were informed she is being taken to the humane society (no kill shelter).

Station 401 had an "Entrapment" Call at the station. A Citizen had a Kitten inside a truck. The lady said it was in the engine compartment first. When they tried to get it out, it ran under the truck and into the spare tire. She came by the station, and as the guys tried to get it out, it went into the bumper. After a while of the guys trying to get it out, they eventually were able to get the Kitten removed. The crew handled the incident, "Purrrrrfectly"...

On May 6th, Cadet Class XV Graduated during an enjoyable event held at Daily Middle School. A wide variety of Dignataries attended and well over 200 Family and Friends attended. We congratulate Cadet Class XV

Annual Christmas Tree Recycling Program.
ESD #4 is pleased to offer it's residents free Christmas Tree Recycling again this year.

Residents can drop off their Christmas Trees in the trailers at the following locations from Monday, December 29th through Friday January 2nd:

Station 401 at 14312 Hunters Bend Road
Station 407 at 4200 City Park Road

Trees MUST be placed IN THE TRAILER. If the trailer is missing, it is being emptied and will return shortly.

Only Trees, NO Artificial Tree's, Plastic Bases and/or Ornaments.

Today ESD #4 bid a fond farewell to Bob Grady, who for the last 19 Years has served ESD #4 as our Chief Bookkeeper and Accountant. We wish Bob and his family all the best and hope he enjoys Retirement!

Travis County Fire Fighters Local 4848 has teamed up with Blaize Annual Toy Drive to collect new toys for Dells Children's hospital. So far they have collected over 300 toys! Here is a photo of Toy's collected at Station 404.
