The 71st Theater Information Operations Group (71st TIOG) conducted a change of command between (outgoing) Col. Theresa Cogswell and (incoming) Lt. Col. Christopher Winnek in Austin Texas, August 10, 2024.
The 71st TIOG mobilizes modular teams to provide Information Operations planning, synchronization, ex*****on, and assessment capabilities to the Army Service Combatant Commanders and the Texas Military Forces to support the employment of information as an element of combat power across the range of military operations.

Staff Sgt. Regina Thatcher and Spc. Holli Molina received coins from 36th Infantry Division Commander, Maj. Gen. Win Burkett for achieving the highest score in the M249, light machine gun, weapons qualification. May 4, 2024, Camp Swift, Bastrop, Texas.

101st IO BN conducts individual weapons qualification at Camp Swift, Bastrop Texas, May 3, 2024. Our training starts with individual proficiency that then culminates in collective training with the entire unit, in order to enhance ours skills through out the force.
