Unity Chapter #29 Order of the Eastern Star, Austin MN

Mothers were honored at our meeting Monday night. All were escorted to the East where WM Mary read a poem titled, "Tale of the Potholder" and gifted them potholders. Each Mother shared how many kids, grandkids, and great grandkids they have.

Installation of Officers was held on April 12, 2026 for Unity Chapter. This years theme is "Our Minnesota".

WM Mary has 3 tables set up representing Austin, Minnesota, and MN Masonic Charities.
New information will be added at each meeting.

Gnomes and Hedgehogs are the fun symbols. Flowers are sunflowers and impatiens (ifkyk).

Unity Chapter has cancelled our meeting tonight due to the likelihood of severe weather intensifying this evening.

During our February meeting, Unity Chapter #29 - Austin, presented a donation to the Music Boosters of Austin, that included a matching grant from Minnesota Masonic Charities, for scholarships for their summer camp program.

Emma E-P., a member of Unity Chapter and Board Member for Music Boosters, accepted the check for their organization from WM Sherry K. and WP Neil H.

Our annual Spaghetti Dinner was held on Saturday, Oct. 26 We'd like to thank those who attended. All enjoyed good food and fellowship. Everyone left looking well fed.

Also, we sincerely appreciate the help of those who worked on Saturday, as well as those who helped with food prep and decorating on Friday.

All are invited! Let us do the cooking.

Unity Chapter #29 had a very busy night on Monday. We honored Present/Former Grand Representatives along with Present/Former Marthas and Secretaries. The Grand Family also joined us for an Official Visit. It was wonderful to see so many visitors attend. Afterward, everyone enjoyed refreshments and fellowship.

Unity Chapter #29 - Order of Eastern Star, recently presented checks for several Community Projects. The donations this year included: The Austin Area Pickleball Association; The Paramount Theatre Project; Music Boosters of Austin; The Hormel House Autistic Program; Discover Austin-Tuba Concert; and the Hormel Nature Center.

Unity Chapter has several events during the year to provide funds for community projects. A Spaghetti Dinner, the Election Day Salad Luncheon, and Tip Night at Pizza Ranch are events the public can attend and support us. Emma E-P., a member of Unity Chapter and Board Member for Music Boosters accepted the check for their organization.

Matching grants from Minnesota Masonic Charities (MMC) were included in the amounts each organization received. This is part of the
Community Grant Program for MMC.
