This free, community-wide event will feature student performances, family-friendly activities, and an update from Superintendent Kirk Koennecke on district highlights and the future of Eanes ISD.

During National Athletic Training Month, we recognize the dedicated work of our Westlake High School athletic trainers who support the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes across Eanes ISD.

Eanes ISD students made their mark on the world stage in Washington, D.C.!

Westlake High School proudly represented our district at the Future City Engineering International Competition, which welcomed more than 92,000 students worldwide. This year’s “Farm to Table” theme challenged teams to design innovative ways to reduce food waste while keeping future cities healthy and safe.

Westlake High School's Team Zaraki (Advika G., Aarshi C., Karthik K., Mahi P., and Prasad G.) and Team Concordia (Arnav S., Aditya G., Arya G., and Kate R.) were invited to Washington, D.C., as Finalists in the High School Future City Program.

Westlake’s Team Concordia captured 1st place in the world, with each student receiving a $10,000 college scholarship and sharing a $20,000 team prize. Team Zaraki also competed as a high school finalist.

We are incredibly proud of these students and their creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. Congratulations to all!
