The hiring process to become an is closing soon. The application for the April 2027 Academy closes on October 19th. Did you know ATCEMS has a Direct Hire option? We are seeking experienced Paramedics to apply.
Direct Hire Clinical Specialists-Field start the academy at the base step pay at a Clinical Specialist Rank, $33.13 an hour. If the candidate has 2 years of full time ALS experience as a Paramedic in a 9-1-1 system, Direct Hire Clinical Specialists will jump to step 2 of Clinical Specialist pay, $34.46 an hour.
Direct Hire Clinical Specialist Field:
Must be 18 years or older (no upper age limit). Must read, write, and speak English.
And the following:
Certification as a Paramedic or NREMT-P You must also have one (1) year of 9-1-1 EMS Transport or Critical Care Transport, full-time clinical ALS experience, while certified at the level of Paramedic, including but not limited to:
• Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for minimum 2 years
• Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years of public-facing customer service experience (Public-facing customer service experience is defined as any role in which a person interacts with the public and/or patients in an employment setting, including but not limited to medical/healthcare roles, retail, hospitality, education, etc.).
