Today, our hearts are with the Van Zandt County Sheriffโ€™s Office as they mourn the loss of Deputy Adam Sherifi.

Behind every badge is a person who is loved, needed, and cherished. Today, a family is facing an unimaginable loss, a department has lost a brother, and a community has lost a protector.

While words can never ease the pain, we pause to honor a life dedicated to serving others. His sacrifice will not be forgotten, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he served and those who served beside him.

Rest easy, Deputy Adam Sherifi. We will take it from here. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿš”

๐Ÿšฆ Traffic Safety Tuesday
Most crashes are not caused by bad drivers. They are caused by good drivers making one bad decision.

Buckle up. Slow down. Put the phone away.

๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฅ Today is National NOT an Accident Day! ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿš—

WORDS MATTER!

When a crash is labeled an "accident," it can imply that nothing could have been done to prevent it. The truth is that many crashes result from choices and behaviors such as impaired driving, speeding, distraction, or failing to buckle up.
โœ… Put the phone awayโœ… Slow downโœ… Buckle upโœ… Drive Sober

Safety is not about luck.
It is about decisions.

Today, Lels Trent Lozano, and Jason York are at the Wharton County Sheriff's Office delivering Below 100 training with one goal: making sure every officer goes home safe.

Officer safety starts long before a traffic stop. Slow down. Buckle up. Put the phone away. Move over. Your choices behind the wheel can save a life.

๐Ÿ’™ Be part of the solution. Drive like a life depends on it, because it does.

๐Ÿ’™ WE WOULD RATHER WRITE A TICKET THAN DELIVER A DEATH NOTIFICATION.

We wonโ€™t remember every traffic stop.

But we will never forget the empty car seats. The toys left behind. The families shattered by one decision.

Or the knock on a door that changes a familyโ€™s life forever.

We would rather see you upset over a ticket than see your family devastated by a funeral.

Slow down. Phone down. Buckle up. Drive sober.

โค๏ธ Someone is waiting for you. Please make it home.
