At the end of the month, The FORT will be moving to a new, secret location. Parties will be few, far-between and very private. We've really appreciated the incredible people who have come through and presented their creative work over the last four and a half years. It's been an honor to host so much talent, as well as the communities that have formed around them. Let's all celebrate this adorable warehouse space together one last time at 3rd/Chicon!
Live music by (in order of appearance) Dirty Lens, Chasca, and The Avocados.

One of the challenges of the Australian Chainsaw Carving Championship was a one-hour quick carve during the event that each carver was invited to participate in. Sound stressful? It's actually surprisingly fun, and a quick way to make a few bucks!

I hope you've been good this year or Krampus will have to hunt you down! Inspired by the Alpine folktale, this chainsaw sculpture will put you in the Christmas spirit... evil spirit, that is.

I found this old video today while organizing hard drives. It's from fall of 2011, the first time I ever tried cutting anything with a chainsaw! Only a few weeks later I launched this channel with my "Gear" video and have been learning how to carve ever since. Enjoy!

This week the city of Austin took down the wall between the FORT's back alley courtyard and the park. It's sad to see it go, but we've got some ideas on how to decorate our spirits back up!
