Meet Jose Flores Jr., 10. Jose was a victim in the tragic mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas where a gunman killed 19 students and 2 teachers. Jose loved baseball and video games. He was a rambunctious kid, always full of energy and “Ready to play till the night.” Just hours before the shooting, he received an award for making the honor roll.

Here is a community campaign to have a voice in appropriate development in their community. A modest income family apartment complex operated by a housing non profit is asking for support to oppose a proposed adult entertainment business whose developer wants to locate the business across the street from this community. I hope NWPC-Tx memers will consider supporting this effort by signing the petition below. Foundation Communities, the affordable housing non profit for poor and low wage families is asking for our support to join their community protest against an out of town developer who wants to build a adult entertainment club by a family apt. complex, a day care center and a public park. Please consider signing the petition!
