TSBP licenses pharmacy professionals and pharmacies and regulates the practice of pharmacy in Texas.

The Texas State Board of Pharmacy, as a leader in protecting the public health of the citizens of Texas, shall uphold quality standards for licensing and facilitate regulation that promotes innovative, multidisciplinary, and collaborative practices and education which produce quality care and positive patient outcomes.

The Texas State Board of Pharmacy office will be closed Friday, April 3rd for an agency holiday. The office will reopen Monday, April 6th.

TSBP Impersonators often reveal themselves by making fraudulent requests. These may include demands for: sensitive payment information over the phone, app downloads onto mobile devices, gift cards, or transfers to an unknown wired account. TSBP staff will not request payment or personal information through these methods.

In memoriam, the Texas State Board of Pharmacy wishes to honor Oren Peacock Jr. Oren was appointed to the Board in 1996 and served for 10 years, including two terms as president. Beyond TSBP, he also served on the NABP Executive Committee with a position as NABP President from 2007-2008. With his legacy felt far and wide across the pharmacy profession, TSBP celebrates the life of Oren Merritt Peacock Jr. (March 29, 1938 - March 10, 2026).
