Three separate cases involving home health providers in Dallas, McAllen and Austin resulted in more than $67,000 in combined recoveries for Texas taxpayers.

A Taylor County resident will complete 40 hours of community service and repay more than $19,000 after OIG investigators found that they failed to report income and household members, which fraudulently increased the individual's SNAP and Medicaid benefits.

The OIG audited a pediatric hospice care provider and identified areas for improvement in coordinating with attending physicians, MCOs and other service providers.
