April 19-25 is National Crime Victims' Rights Week, an annual observance since 1981 that brings communities together and raises awareness about victims’ rights and services. This year's theme is Listen. Act. Advocate. Protect victims, serve communities. Thank you for the work that you do as victim services providers and allies and for continuing to uplift the voices of crime victims in your communities!

Dear TAAVA Alumni:

Today is the last day to register for the next virtual quarterly meeting of your Alumni Network, scheduled for this Wednesday, December 17th from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm central time. Registration is free and is open through close of business today, Monday, December 15th.

Please join us for two informative presentations:

Our training on Grants: Enhancing Your Skills, being presented by Leticia Vizcaino, retired manager of the El Paso County grants department; and
Our featured alumna segment on the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV), presented by Diane Bocklage, TAAVA Class of 2024 and Family Violence Services Manager at TCFV.

Registration by close of business today, Monday, December 15th is required in order to receive the meeting link the day prior to the event.
