I chose the state of Rhode Island, and the State of Rhode Island chose me! When I decided we should make the Ocean State our new home, I knew it was a special place.

I’m excited to share that I am the Chief Public Affairs Officer for the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services’ new Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP).

From Block Island to Smithfield, 18 rural areas will be welcoming new levels of health care. From technology enhancements, to increased behavioral health access, and health care workforce development, the state will soon see the impacts of RHTP.

I’m honored to be part of the team informing Rhode Island residents as new and enhanced health care services are implemented in the years to come.

It is always bittersweet to close a chapter to open the next one.

Last week was my final week as Chief Marketing Officer at Combined Arms. I’m impressed by the dedication, passion, and innovation of my colleagues. I will miss you!

I am proud of what we built together: from creating our own publications designed to establish state veteran networks, to launching multiple marketing campaigns to inform the military community of resources they earned, and to expanding the reach and breadth of messaging through news media, newsletters, digital media, in-person events and more.

There are more than one million veterans across the District of Columbia, Virginia, and Maryland.
