And just like that, the school year is complete! The Dad’s Group wrapped up the final parent drop-off this morning, while celebrating our incredible 5th graders as they graduate and move on to big things. 🎓✨Shoutout to Officer Mike for hanging out with us and keeping our school community safe. We couldn’t do it without you! P.S. If you couldn’t tell, the official CCE dad uniform requires shorts. No exceptions! 😎🩳

An era ends today as we say a bitter-sweet goodbye to a true legend, Lt. BK is officially retiring from the Eanes ISD Police Department! If you know him, you know he is a man of immense presence. He is a protector who could stop you in your tracks with his boots, yet he remains the ultimate gentle giant. His heart is even bigger than his stature. He is the kind of selfless leader who would genuinely give you the shirt off his back—even if it would fit most of us like a maxi dress! In all seriousness, and are losing a pillar of safety, kindness, and community. He leaves behind incredibly large shoes to fill and a massive void in our daily lives.Thank you for your dedicated service, your protection, and your giant heart. We are going to miss you immensely. Join us in wishing Lt. BK the absolute best on his well-deserved second retirement!

We had a lockdown and while there was no real threat we are grateful that the administrators and police responded promptly and worked collaboratively to clear the school without too much disruption to the morning. All students and staff did an amazing job of taking this lockdown seriously.
