My grandfather, who was my political mentor and my best, and my most trusted friend, used to frequently tell me that if at least half of the people you interact with don't hate you, and want to destroy you, you just aren't doing your job right. I understand his insightful words better today then ever before.

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum on The University of Texas at Austin campus, George H. Bush Presidential Library, College Station, Texas on the campus of Texas A&M University and the George W. Bush Presidential Library on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas. What a beautiful, picturesque and tranquil final resting place for President George H. W. Bush, former First Lady Barbara Pierce Bush and their daughter Robin.

Paying our respects to the 41st President of the United States and fellow Texan, George Herbert Walker Bush. He served our great nation in both war and peace time, and did so admirably and heroically. Rest in Peace President Bush.
